PMI currently works in the eastern province of North Kivu in the Democratic Republic of Congo a region where armed conflict, poverty and natural disasters have undermined efforts to deliver basic services such as education and access to financial services. PMI envisions expanding to other cities in DR Congo and also to other African nations.
